Welcome to our updated website. The sailing adventure is over (for now) and we are back on
dry land again, living in a house with all the complications which come with this.
After 5 wonderful years at sea we decided it was time to go back to be doing something a bit more
productive, for a while at least. We would have liked to continue on to Indonesia & Thailand but
not any further than that. Doing this would have left us in a difficult area to sell a boat. Hence we
reluctantly put Moonshadow on the market in Australia. Jeremy and Margie, a lovely couple from
Perth fell in love with her and have now sailed her back to Perth, on the west coast of Australia.
After a bit of traveling in Australia we put our belongings on 2 pallets and caught a plane to Los
Angeles. Goofy arrive half a year before we did as we did not want to put him through quarantine
again. Gail & Daniel graciously offered to give him a home until we got back and kept him for
almost a year as we were busy settling into our house.
